The Prodigal God by Timothy Keller
The parable of the Prodigal Son is typically shared as a story about a lost son being found and the grace and mercy of a loving father. Tim Keller provides an expanded understanding of this parable in his book, THE PRODIGAL GOD. He positions each of the “lost sons” in such a way that the reader can personally relate to one or the other and sometimes both.
The title, THE PRODIGAL GOD, while curious, makes complete sense when we understand that PRODIGAL means RECKLESS. Keller reminds us of God’s reckless grace and that it is our greatest hope regardless of with which brother your life aligns
